Responsibilities:
- Assist with providing tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse group of private companies and individuals.
- Prepare complex federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Assist with tax planning and tax research projects, identifying and addressing business and tax issues through research and analysis, under the guidance of senior staff and managers.
- Complete assigned engagement work within budgeted time and scheduled deadlines.
- Communicate progress, questions, and potential issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Develop an understanding of client needs and circumstances while providing support on routine tax and accounting matters.
Requirements:
- BS/BA in accounting or similar undergraduate degree
- 0-2 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and concepts
- Working knowledge of tax principles and concepts, tax law, and tax research
- Excellent time management, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills

- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
